National Thai Language Day Activities 2017

Sarasas Ektra School’s Thai Subject Department (Primary) organised National Thai Language Day Activities 2017 on 3rd August 2017 at the Auditorium. The activities were aimed to remind everyone of the late King Bhumibol Adulyadej (King Rama IX), His Majesty King Rama V, and King Ramkhamhaeng’s gratitude. They were all prestigious scholars and Thai academics.  Another goal was to encourage the students to realise the significance and values of Thai language and to immortalize it as anidentity of the nation. There were various Thai traditional performances held in the buildup of the event which included Choi (a kind of Thai folk song), dance under the theme “Root of Thais”, and Thai Boxing (Muay Thai) show by the student Mstr. Shinathorn Dechachatchawan (Yr.6D). Additionally, there was a certificate giving ceremony to the students who won the competitions as noted below.
