Every year, Sarasas Ektra School has organized ‘Color Sports’ or ‘Sports Carnival’ that allows students who have athletic abilities to compete according to their skills, knowing what it is to be an athlete, knowing how to win, knowing how to lose, knowing how to forgive and also creating unity among students for the academic year 2020. The school cut some sports from the competition and also haven’t any Cheerleaders contest, only including activities that will prevent and reduce the spread of COVID 19. Details of the activities for Nursery, Kindergarten, Primary and Secondary departments are as follows:
Nursery
Held at the crescent court in front of Building 1 on Tuesday 24 November 2020 from 9.30-10.30 am. Students were divided into teams such as NC.1 and NC.2 to compete in miscellaneous games and fun movement-based activities such as Duck-Dick car game, and fun running.
KG.1- Y.1 actvities
Held on Wednesday 25 November 2020 from 8.15-13.45 pm at Building 6 Auditorium. There was a variety of games for students in KG.1- Y.1 levels throughout the day. Students were divided into color teams, competing in games that promote fine motor skills and different body development. They had a lot of fun playing games such as Frog Jump, Balance Ball, Ball Drop, etc., all under the supervision of Thai and Foreign teachers.
Primary-Secondary (Y.2 – Y.12)
The semi-finals for each competition were held on Thursday 26 and Friday 27 November 2020 from 8.00 am -14.00 pm. This followed competition between all the colours that had been held during November in sports including futsal, basketball, volleyball and chairball.
On the 26 November a foot race, ‘Ektrathon’ was held involving students from each colour and a team of Thai and Foreign teachers. There was also an ‘Ektra Family Run’ for students in Yrs 2-12, a 50 metre race and the first round of tug of war.
The 27 November was the day of the opening ceremony of Sports Carnival. This included a parade of the four colours: Green (Emerald), Yellow (Gold), Purple (Amethyst) and Blue (Sapphire). The president of the ceremony gave a speech, then opened the competition by giving armbands and pennants to each colour leader. The Sport representative who was invited to carry the the torch ran into the crescent court to light the torch. After that the Sport representative made a vow. Following the ceremony the final tug of war competition was held. In the afternoon session, the president gave the winning teams trophies and then began the official closing ceremony of the Sports Carnival.

Miss Tonrug Sae-heng
was born on Sunday December 2, 2007. She is now13 years old
and is currently studying in Yr.7D. She is a badminton player with Katekaew club. She received a John Bosco’s Annual Scholarship in 2020. She entered her first badminton competition at the age of eight. She is a diligent, patient, hardworking and hard hitting girl who studies and practices successfully with many awards to her name.

- Female Singles Champion, age 10, National Childrens Day 2017, award from the Sports Governor of Thailand
- Second runner up, Female Doubles champion, age 10, Pom Pui Championship 2017 (Royal Medal from Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn)
- Female Singles Champion, age 10, award from Bangkok Badminton 2017
- Mixed Doubles Champion, age 10, award from UNLISTED Championship 2017
2018
- Second runner up, Female Singles, age 15, from JCB Thailand 2018
- Mixed Doubles Champion, age 12 and Female Doubles Champion, age 12, award from Badminton Youth League 2018
- On May 10, 2018, Miss Tonrug Sae-Heng at the age of 10 years and 5 months was selected into the SCG Badminton Academy as the youngest contestant in history to be selected by the SCG Badminton Academy. This is a club under the Royal Patronage of King Rama IX, creating great pride.
2019
- Was a representative athlete to compete in Malaysia. Female Doubles Champion, age 12 and Second runner – up in Female Singles, age 12. Award from Lixma Kejohanan Badminton Remaja
- Champion Thailand Female Doubles, age 12. Award from Department of Physical Education 2019
- Female Singles Champion, age 12 (defeated Japanese National Team B). Award from FUTURE ARENA HANG YU MADMINTOPN OPEN 2019
