Bachelor Degree in International Curriculum from the Faculty of Arts.
I received a scholarship for 40% tuition fee discount from Grade 10 to Grade 12. I was chosen by many teachers because I well behaved and had an appropriate GPA. It is the first bilingual school in Thailand and has many foreign teachers who are of many different nationalities. Most of the teachers (including Thai) in school also can speak English, so it is one of the things that made me develop a special interest in English. During Year 11, I took a test and got chosen to be an AFS exchange student to New Zealand for one year, so I decided to continue my college degree in International Curriculum and passed the entrance exam to Chulalongkorn University. When I studied in Year 4, I passed a test to get to work at Walt Disney World, Florida for three months. After I graduated, I took the test again and was chosen to be the representative (from 1 of 3 people selected) from Thailand to work at Disney World for one year in the position of Thailand Cultural Representative.
I used to think the rules for hairstyles, dress codes and how to study at Ektra were too much, after I left school, and it actually helped me. I had discipline, responsibility towards my work and had learnt how to be patient.
I have many fond memories of the teachers and friends I made at Sarasas Ektra School. All my friends studied at different universities and we haven’t had a chance to meet up that often, but still try to keep in contact. This is because of the bonds we made during the activities at school such as Scouts and Sport’s day. These activities have made us realize who our true friends are, by working together through the time times. Teachers were always willing to give advice and to take care of us.
I would like junior to find what do you really want to do in the future? Plan for your life and I believe that your dream will come true. Just like Walt Disney said that “If you can dream it, you can do it”
