Yr.6 Scout Camp, 2020 and activities for students and parents at Sufficiency Economy Learning Centre Ban Kong Por


          On Saturday and Sunday, 10-11 October, School organized a Scout Camp for Yr.6 boys and girls at Sarasas Affiliated Schools Scout Camp (Sarasas Witaed Bangborn) and activities for students and parents (1 student 1 family) at Sufficiency Economy Learning Centre. Ban Kong Por, Ayutthaya province.

           For the Scout Camp activity, following the opening ceremony in the morning session, Scouts participated in 6 Activity Bases, as follows:      

       
 
 
   
     
   
    1. Hula Hoop procession and Jump in-Jump out
     
    2. Area Measurement and Draw me the word
   
    3. Ping pong extension pipe and Kongkoy
     
    4. Balloon procession and Water Bomb
     
    5. Bomb disposal and Pass under the procession
     
    6. Pyramid Glasses and Build it up
       
       
       


          Boys and girls together participated in activities full of laughter and smiles. They also exercised their physical skills in every part, practicing activities as a group, which creates solidarity.

          The nine Activity Bases required physical skills and patience as well as strength and courage. Scouts were able to use these experiences for further personal development. 

          The activity for students and parents at the Sufficiency Economy Learning Centre Ban Kong Por, Ayutthaya province, began with groups of parents and students traveling from School to the Centre by van in the morning and holding fun rally activities in each van during the journey.




          When they arrived at the Centre, students took group photos together and then heard a lecture on Sufficiency Economy theory. They then learned how to cook a sufficiency dish, spicy fried eggs salad, for lunch. After that, students and their parents fed the sheep, learned how to grow plants in pots, how to feed the fish in a fish pond, and tried to plant rice in the demonstration field. In these ways they learned through practice about sufficiency theory things they could apply to their own lives.

          Through participation in the Scout Camp and activities for students and parents at the Sufficiency Economy Learning Centre students had fun and friendship with smiles and laughter, building strong relationships between classmates and creating warm memories.
