Congratulations to
Mr. Ingeon Kim, a student from Year 12B (GAC Class) for passing through the Grand Final Round (6 finalist teams remained),
defeating other 60 contestants from 10 countries
in Asia Pacific Regional Final Round, International Trade Challenge (ITC) 2019
held during 18th – 22nd August 2019 at Kuala Lumper, Malaysia.
The contest was organized by Junior Achievement (JA) and FedEx Express.

Mr. Ingeon Kim and Ms. Minna Lim from year 11C (GAC Class) are 2 of the 6 winners of FedEx Express/JA International Trade Challenge held at Bangkok Patana International School on Sunday 21st July 2019. All the 6 winners will be representing Thailand in International Trade Challenge (ITC) 2019 held in Malaysia. Contestants must get into groups and join different activities to familiarize with each other and practice teamwork. Following to this, each contestant will pick a lucky draw and will be paired with the other contestant from other countries. Numbers of team are totaled 30. Each team has to come up with an innovative healthy product to be sold in Germany.

The team of Ingeon and the other Australian teammate “Hungry Cheetah Team” proposes “Herz Ring”, a ring that can detect blood pressure and heart rates of the wearer. After sensing health data of the wearer, it transmits the data to the control unit for preventing heart attack. Moreover, Herz Ring can be regularly and conveniently worn every day.

Our school is proud of the achievement of our students in this competition. It gives fame to both nation and the school, and they are also good role models for other students.
