Celebration of Silpa Bhirasri Day

           The Secondary Art Group set up an exhibition for Silpa Bhirasri day with the theme of “More Than Words” during 15th – 19th September 2014 for students to know the history and importance of Professor Silpa Bhirasri who is considered the father of modern Thai art. He was the pioneer who laid foundation of modern art in Thailand. Moreover he passed on knowledge of western art to Thai youth and established the Silpakorn School or Silpakorn University. Nowadays it is one of the top art schools in Thailand. The celebration also featured a painting contest for ‘Stop Bullying’ using water colours as the medium.
