National Thai Language Day 2014

           On 29th July 1962, King Bhumibol Adulyadej (King Rama the 9th) visited the Faculty of Arts at Chulalongkorn University to discuss the misuse of Thai language. His interest and worry in the preservation of Thai language left an impression on the people in attendance. They chose 29th July every year to be National Thai Language Day to recall his speeches and for the preservation of correct Thai language usage. Thai Learning Group organized the Thai Language Day on 28th July 2014 for the students realize the importance of Thai Language and conserve it forever by setting up activities and exhibits:

     • The Verse Format
     • Vocabulary Synonym, Proverb Slang
     • The good Literature and the books the received S.E.A Write Award (Year 1979-2013)
     • His Majesty The King Bhumibol Adulyadej and Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn with Thai Languages they use.
