Buddhist Lent Day

           The Buddhist Lent Day marks the first day that Monks and Novices stay in the same temple for 3 months. It starts from the waning day of the first lunar month. Thai Buddhist People use the Buddhist Lent to make merit by presenting foods, the bath robes and candles to Monks and Novices to use during the three months spent in the temple. In order to maintain good culture and preserve Buddhism, Sarasas Ektra School (Secondary Department and Infant Department) “Presented the Candle” on 10th July 2014 from a group of the Student Council, student representatives and teachers to Paijernchotnaram Temple as well as donating merit money of 11,910.75 baht.
