Loy Krathong Day is the first full moon of the 12th Thai lunar month. It is an important cultural day for Thai people. This year, Loy Krathong is on 6th November 2014. Sarasas Ektra School, Primary Department hosted a Loy Krathong cultural event for Y.1-Y.3 students to know the history of this day and the importance of water.

Students, Thai and Foreign teachers wore beautiful traditional Thai outfits for the day. The activity started with traditional Thai dancing by Thai and Foreign teachers, followed by a video presentation of the history of Loy Krathong. Students danced to the Loy Krathong song and those who were doing a great job were invited up on the stage. The Loy Krathong event concluded with an award presentation to students. It was an impressive day for students, Thai and foreign teachers alike.
