Sarasas Ektra School Primary Department hosted an OPEN HOUSE giving a chance for Yr. 1 parents to see Yr.1 students and teachers in action. The OPEN HOUSE featured days for Yr. 1 parents from the 9th-11th September 2014 and then a special day for KG3 parents and interested families from outside of our school on the 12th September 2014.

9th-11th September 2014 Parent’s schedule:
- Joining flag ceremony and morning activities.
- Watching recorded snippets of students’ Thai, Phonics and Physical Education lessons.
- Viewing a live lesson taught by foreign teachers via CCTV.
- Attending the Yr.1 story telling performances in English at the auditorium.
- The morning ended with a chit chat session for parents and teachers.

12th September 2014 Visitor’s schedule:
- management representatives and teachers welcomed parents and presented information on the education pathways at the Primary Department.
- Watched sample videos of Thai and Foreign teachers teaching in Yr. 1.
- Yr. 2 & 3 students showed their wonderful use of English performing the story: ‘The Gruffalo’ at the auditorium.
- Visitors then had a chance to look at a variety of educational displays showing subject and activity information in the Primary Department along with chatting with representative Thai and foreign teachers.
- The morning finished with a wonderful set of live musical performances from the primary students and music teachers.
