From 3rd - 5th October 2014 Sarasas Ektra Primary Department held its’ annual Y. 6 Scout Camp. The camp is important for students to practice what they have learnt, apply their skills and scouting knowledge. Over the 3 day - 2 night camp boy scouts and girl guides did many activities:

3rd Oct. 14 :

• Scout Camp opening ceremony.
• Then a field trip to the Royal Thai Naval Academy and Naval Museum in Samut Prakan to learn the history of ancient objects in the Naval Museum, the facts of war, weapons that were used, ships through the ages and a question and answer activity about knowledge of Royal Thai Naval Academy.
• Students camped overnight at school after the first nights’ campfire which was opened by the teacher’s Zulu performance troop. The students were so excited to see the florescent Zulu warriors usher in the first campfire. There were English drama shows from Y.6A, Y.6B and Y.6F on the first night.

4th Oct. 14 :

• A field trip to Baan Rim Num Camp for activity and adventure bases.
• Students camped overnight at school. The second night of the camp fire saw drama shows in English from Y.6C, Y.6D and Y.6E. There was a very funny show put on by some of the Thai scout teachers too, bring lots of laughter from all of those around the campfire.

5th Oct. 14 :

• A friendship activity at the Secondary department had Y.6 boy scouts and girl guides joining 6 activity bases. The student council and secondary students hosted games and sport for Y 6 students to participate in and at each base students learned a ‘lesson’ of each activity: one example was ‘harmony’.
• After that students came back to the Primary campus for the award ceremony and camp closing ceremony.
