On 17th -18th July 2014, Sarasas Ektra School Primary Department invited the KG3 students for a visit

“Smart Start” was held at the Auditorium. We separated the students to attend 4 Bases:

First Base: Body Combat
The activity was about Aerobic Dance to build up good, strong health.

Second Base: Puppet Invention
The activity was about inventing a puppet, using paper. The students could use lots of their own creativity and ideas.

Third Base: Magic Balloon
The activity showed a scientific test of the reaction between vinegar and baking soda to blow up a balloon. Students leant scientific method and were very interested in this activity.

Fourth Base: The Enormous Melon
This activity was about telling a story of how to plant a watermelon and also had games for the students using multimedia smart board to improve learning.

Each base took 20 minutes and then they rotated around the bases until they had covered all of them. “Smart Start” was not only enjoyable for the students, but fostered their own creativity and taught them to work with a team spirit.
