An ASEAN activity was held on 7th August 2015 with the purpose of helping students to learn about the cultures, languages and traditional costumes of the 10 ASEAN countries in readiness to welcome our neighbors to our country. Students wore the costumes of the 10 ASEAN countries.

The Infant Department set up activity bases for KG.1-3 students to learn and have fun. The 7 activity bases included:
1) Flag Base: Students learnt about flag of each country and enjoyed a game about the map of each country.
2) Language Base: Students learnt some basic language of each countries such as greeting words, etc.
3) Costume Base: Students learnt about costumes in ASEAN countries.
4) Animal Base: Students learnt about the National Animals of ASEAN countries.
6) Art Base: Students learnt about the symbols of the flags and coloured in copies of the flags.
7) Photo Base: Students had their photos taken wearing their costumes to keep them as mementos.

Students learned a lot about our ASEAN neighbours and had fun doing the the activities. They learnt language, costumes, and facts about each country. The activity conformed to M.I. theory for linguistic, visual and naturalist intelligences.
