National Mother's Day 2015 ( Infant Dept. )

       12th August is a day that Thai people know and appreciate because it is the birthday anniversary of Her Majesty the Queen, and it is National Mother's Day. The Infant Department of Sarasas Ektra School hosted Mother's Day on 6th August 2015 to show the respect to Her Majesty the Queen and to show gratitude to our mothers.

The activity started with the ceremony to welcome parents who joined in the activity. The president opened the cone, presented silver and golden trays to the portraitof the Queen, and read the prayer. After that there were performances by parents and students such as:

1) KG. 3 students chorus sang “ Mama I love you”.
2) Dancing to bless the Queen. The “Garland dance” from KG. 3 students.
3) Students and parents joined in a drama show titled “Sorry Sorry”. It was a story on the theme “Stop Bullying”.
4) Dancing along with the music from parents.

After that students' representative read Mother's Day poems, and there were slides about the relationship between mothers and children for everyone who attended the event to see. After that students sang a song, "We Love Mom" and the dancers gave garlands to their mothers. It was an impressive scene for everyone. Then Mr. Al gave a speech to all the children for Mother's Day and thanked everyone for their cooperation in organizing the Mother's day activity.

There was also an activity in the classroom for KG.1 students so that parents could do activities with their children to build a good relationship between mother and child. Children had to close their eyes and find their mom, give cards to their mothers, prostrate before their mothers and show love to them. It was an impressive scene.
