The 12th of August every year is Her Majesty Queen Sirikit’s birthday, and the government has established that day to be National Mother’s day in recognition of the Queen’s kindness to the Thai people. For Thai citizens, she is like the mother of the land.
           A mother is a very important person because a mother gives birth, takes care of her children and gives true love. When children make any mistake, the mother never complains, so children should realize this and be grateful to their mothers. This year, Sarasas Ektra School Secondary Department hosted the National Mother’s Day Activity on 10th August 2015 at the Auditorium. Students and teachers were able show gratitude to Her Majesty the Queen and to all mothers. The activities instilled in students love and gratitude and encouraged them to be good to their parents. The activities were as follows:
                - Presentation of certificates to exemplary mothers
                - “Talking in mother’s language” activity
                - Drawing and singing contest
                - Musical items, Chorus, and Thai dancing to honor the Queen
                - Speech: “The Greatest Mother” and “Everything I do I do it for Mom”

           This was the first year that the school has given certificates to the exemplary mothers to honor them and acknowledge the care and support they have given their children. As a result, our students in every batch have helped the school gain a better reputation. The exemplary mothers were:

           They are the mothers who sent all of their children study at Ektra. Although their children have already graduated from the school, the mothers still keep contact with the school and support its activities.
