National Mother's Day 2015 (Primary Dept.)

The Primary Department hosted National Mother’s Day celebrations on 11th August 2015 to honor Her Majesty, Queen Sirikit, and to encourage students to show their love and gratitude to their mother or mother figure. There were two sessions, a Morning and an Afternoon session. The morning session was for Yr.2 - Yr.6.
There was dancing to bless the Queen set to “Chui Chai Sirikit”, the Ektra Junior Chorus Band sang “The Mother’s Day Funny Song”, the Ektra Primary Chorus and Band performed “I turn to you”, the Mini Orchestra Band performed “Love Mom to the Sky”, and the winners of student speech contests delivered their speeches
There was also a special dance performance by the mothers set to “Wind Beneath my Wings”. This was especially well received.
The afternoon session was for Yr.1 students and their moms. They had fun playing games together. Afterwards the students sang “A Mother’s Love” to their moms, and showed their love by hugging them, kissing them on a cheek and telling them how much they loved them.
