"World Environment Day" is on the 5th June of every year. This year Sarasas Ektra School hosted World Environment Day Activities. The school set up exhibits to provide student knowledge about Environment Day and opened a chance for students to share their ideas in the topic of “How to save the Environment”. Students wrote down their ideas and suggestions on the board set up outside the library. After that teachers chose 7 sentences that they liked and gave rewards to students. Students who received the rewards were:

" Turn off your engine when parking the car."

" Help planting the tree, and throw garbage in the trash can."

" Help in saving the environment."

Teachers also talked about the importance of Environment Day. After that Yr.4-Yr.6 students answered questions from Ms. Dohna and Ms. Jean. Teachers announced students' name who received the Encouragement Award from drawing contest in the topic "Go Green and help saving the Earth.”
