Sarasas Ektra Secondary Department took 141 Yr. 7 students on a fieldtrip to the "National Science and Technology Fair 2015" on 20th November 2015. Hosted by the National Science Museum at Impact Exhibition and Convention Center, Challenger Building, students learnt science through fun activities, a paper airplane contest, visiting a Science lab, Science project shows from students nationwide and other exhibitions such as:
- Honor exhibit: that presented the King’s Science projects.
- Light is Life Exhibit: Developing theory to explain how humans see.
- Water Exhibit: Students realized the important of water, understanding water cycle and knowing water scientifically.

Moreover students also joined in Science experiment such as checking pH of soil, using power from riding a bicycle to create electricity, testing on the weight of oil and water, water cycle, light refraction and focus point.
Moreover students used the knowledge from this fieldtrip to answer in answer sheets that teachers provided to evaluate the knowledge that they had learnt. Students wrote an English essay on the topic “RCW base on the Science Education Excursion”. Students wrote an essay into three parts such as introduction, body and conclusion. There were five words that teachers chose for students to write in the Essay such as crank out, grow up, come up, put through and break down. Students also needed to illustrate and color their essays.
