Accidents can happen anytime without notice, especially accident caused from fire can lead to loss of life and property. To help prevent the loss of lives and property and gain more safety confidence for everyone at school, Ektra conducts a fire evacuation drill at least once a year. This year they were as follows:

Secondary Department                   

- Junior Secondary on Friday 10th July 2015
         Simulated fire situation occurred at 10.30 am in the John Bosco building, 5th fl., Science Lab.
- Senior Secondary on Monday 13th July 2015
         Simulated fire situation occurred at 10.30 am in John the Baptist building, 4th fl., computer room.

Infant Department
- On Wednesday 15th July 2015
         Simulated fire situation occurred at 9.10 am in building 3, 2nd fl.

Primary Department
- On Thursday 23rd July 2015
         Simulated fire situation occurred at 9.30 am in building 2, 2nd fl., Science Lab.
                 
After each fire evacuation drill was completed students, teachers and other employees learnt readiness for a fire evacuation, learnt correct escape route as well as students and teachers learning cooperation and other safety aspects in case f a fire.
