On February 10th, 2017, Sarasas Ektra School Infant Department hosted the Multiple Intelligences Academic Fun Fair 2016. Attended by senior primary students, this event enabled the participants to discover their own outstanding abilities, which according to Professor Howard Gardner’s ‘Multiple Intelligences Theory’, is a significant means of developing their individual skills and thus maximising future potential.

            Divided into morning and afternoon sections—the former held for students from Years 5 and 6 and the latter for Year 4 students, the event began with a Multiple Intelligences Presentation, followed by a Drama Club performance by primary and secondary students. Then, the representatives of each MI club presented their work and activities at their booths. After that, there was a student music performance. The parents who attended the event were encouraged to visit a number of booths, some of which included Photography, Maths, Science, Sport, Drama, Art, Computer, and Language booths.

            Apart from doing those activities, the students also put the products they made on sale. The turnover after expense deduction will be donated to Siriraj Hospital’s Nawamintarabopit Building project - the last project of His Majesty King Bhumibol and a facility to treat underprivileged patients.
