“Open House” was conducted by the Kindergarten Department on August 15th-26th, 2016. The school invited all parents to receive essential information and see teaching in classrooms. On August 17th and 26th, the activity was held for external parents. All parents saw live video of the way of teaching and learning of foreign teachers.  Then the parents joined in instructional activities in classrooms and saw project presentations in each class. For this year we added the activity called “STEM” which helped to practice thinking and analyzing skills. The parents could join and do the activity with the students.

          Open House of Primary was divided into two rounds. The first round was on September 2nd-8th for parents of Year 1A-1F students. The second was on September 9th for parents of Year KG 2-3 students and external parents.

On September 6th-8th there were the following activities.
          We started the program with the Activity Assembly of Years 1 and 2 students and routine activity of the students through presentations. Then the parents admired Year 2-3 students’ English skills. Next, they watched the foreign homeroom teachers in their classes. Then the parents met the homeroom teachers.

On September 9th there were the following activities.
          They started with viewing an introductory presentation about Sarasas Ektra school (Primary) and some musical talent from the Ektra Junior chorus. After that a representative of the executive administration gave a welcoming speech to parents and explained the Education guidelines for primary level. Then the parents watched Year2-3 students’ ability show which was using English skills through Story Telling. Then the parents saw demonstration lessons by foreign teachers and looked around the Learning Achievement boards and  academic activity boards.
