On Thursday, 7th July 2016, School's Primary and Secondary departments organized student council elections for the academic year 2016 to recognize student involvement and encourage better understanding of democracy and leadership. The details are as follows.

           - The Primary department conducted their election at the St. John Bosco building. The results of the election were as follows:

The winner was number 6, the “Return Happiness to Ektra Students Party”, which received 166 votes.

The first runner up was number 2, the “Do it for Ektra Party”, which received 159 votes.

The second runner up was number 3, the “Return Happiness to Ektra Party”, which received 49 votes.

           - The Secondary department conducted their election at the St. John Baptist building. The results of the election were as follows:

The winner was number 4, the “Student Voices Party”, which received 224 votes.

The first runner up was number 5, the “Ektra Preserver Party”, which received 160 votes.

The second runner up was number 3, the “Vision Party”, which received 147 votes.
