Sarasas Ektra’s Secondary Department organised “JA Insure Your Success” activity for Yr.9 students. The event was held by Junior Achievement Thailand Foundation on Friday 1st  September 2017 at the Seminar Room, 7th floor, St. John the Baptist Building.

           The volunteer groups of employees from Krungthai-AXA Life Insurance PCL were the special lecturers. They came to train the students in two rounds: morning and afternoon sessions. The purpose of this activity was to enable the students to learn more, gain a better understanding and foundation knowledge in the following topics: how to manage one’s own money effectively, money saving methods, investments, insurance for one’s financial security, and financial risk protection of people and property from unexpected incidents.

          There were some activities in the buildup of the events such as quizzes before and after the seminar and the question-answer section with the  lecturers. Also, the students were divided into groups in order to help find the answers for the problems given by the lecturers.  From participating in this event, the students gained more ideas of how to spend their money in the more effective ways and they obtained the ideas of how to invest their money in the future. Additionally, they could adapt what they learnt from the activity to help their family save money.
