Sarasas Ektra’s Infant and Primary Departments held the Open Morning Activity 2017 from 22nd  August -1st September, 2017. School invited parents of current students to participate in the event. The purpose of this activity was to enable the parents to observe a live teaching demonstration and to witness the learning process in the classrooms. There was also an opportunity for visitors to join some activities, which are detailed below.
         

On 22nd -25th August, 2017

          For parents of NC-KG.2 students, the Open Morning was organised at Sathupradit Soi 19 campus. Alongside, being able to to observe and feel the atmosphere of foreign teachers’ actual classes, parents had a chance to watch project presentations from the students in class, facilitated by the Thai teachers. Finally, they had an opportunity to talk with the homeroom teachers to exchange the information about the students’ behavior in class and academic performance results.

         

On 29th -30th August, 2017

          For parents of KG.3 students and visitors, the event was held at Sathupradit Soi 20 campus. They got to observe actual classes, similarly to the parents of NC-KG.2 did. In addition, they had an opportunity to observe Yr.1 teaching and learning procedures. Parents would have obtained some useful information such as how students can get ready for primary school, teaching and learning procedures for primary students, and school’s identity etc.

         

On 31st August – 1st September, 2017

          Parents of Yr.1 students and the visitors had an opportunity to participate in the exhibition, showing the school’s courses and academic achievements. Then they observed the teaching and learning procedures and watched the VDO presentation about students’ daily routines and daily teaching and learning procedures in Yr.1 special subjects. Finally, the parents had a chance to talk with the homeroom teachers to exchange some information and to cooperate in enhancing the students’ abilities.
