On January 18th – 19th , 2018 our Primary and Secondary Departments organised the “Sports Carnival 2017” activity. The purposes of the event were to develop students’ physical strength, to improve their mindfulness and intelligence, and to encourage them to live in harmony.

             This year a lot of parents and alumni came to join the event to support their children and juniors. The sports games were held during the lunch break from January 17th -19th. There were different kinds of sports competition as below.

             The Ektrathon was organised on January 18th . It was a marathon running competition inside the school. The runners ran up inside the buildings including the seven-storey car park building, St. John Bosco., St. John the Baptist., and Dominic 1 Buildings before they reached the finish line at the Primary Campus. A number of primary and secondary students as well as Thai and foreign teachers took part in the competition.  The winners of Ektrathon in each category are shown below.

             On January 19th the event started with the opening ceremony, followed by the Sports Carnival parade of the four colours which included Emerald (Green), Gold (Yellow), Amethyst (Purple), and Sapphire (Blue).

            This year there was a Salsa,  a Latin-style Dance Contest. Also, many parents joined the parade with great fun. After that the final round of Tug-of-War was held. Next, there were the cheering group and cheerleading team competitions. Moreover, our Thai and foreign teachers worked together to perform wonderful shows for everyone. Lastly, our Director gave various types of awards to the winners as follows:
