The year 2018 AD marks the 23rd founding anniversary of Sarasas Ektra school, which calls for an impressive celebration of God-given gifts and talents. These were displayed with performances by students, teacher and alumni in a musical extravaganza on the nights of 21-23 November.

             Opening the 23rd anniversary musical show was a breathtaking performance of Khon dance, an excerpt from the epic story of Rama Kien (จองถนน). It was performed by Kindergarten, Primary and Secondary students who gave a sterling characterization of the little fish, the monkeys, the mermaid and Hanuman in a display of colorful costumes and traditional Khon choreography.

             The second part of the celebration was the main event; the Drama performance by a selected group of students in Primary and Secondary. This year’s anniversary focused on Insight music songs that have captured our hearts with their sentimental tunes and dramatized scenes harmonized with a spirited musical and dance choreographies. With the cast singing the famous song “A Million Dreams” from “The Greatest Showman”, Sarasas Ektra School graced the stage with another outstanding display of talent from the student actors, the music students and the chorus.

             The story centered around a music student who has lost his self-belief in his ability to play his trumpet due to pressure from both his friends and some bullies. With the support and encouragement of his siblings, he is able to confront his fears and muster all his courage to face these problems, knowing that his mother would always be there to guide him and love him. This story is relevant to most of our students in Sarasas Ektra School. Despite the adversities we may face each day, our school never fails us. She is like our mother who does everything within her powers to help her children achieve their goals and to be the people we’ve always dreamed of becoming.
