Hospital Builder Project

On August 25th, the Secondary Department arranged a CSR activity, “Ektra Youth Leader for Society”. The activity received kind support from parents of Mr. Ratchanon Mitsumoto, a year 10C student.

The Ektra Youth Leader group brought 73 volunteer students to take part in the “Hospital Builder Project”. In this project, students had to work in groups to create airplane models; starting from design stage, wood cutting, and decoration. Once these models are complete, they will be brought to an auction. The money obtained from the auction will be donated to the construction of Maharat Nakhon Ratchasima Hospital. Students also made artificial carp fish to send to patients. In ancient times, carp were believed to symbolize wealth and good health.

Despite there being only a small group of students, they worked well together and could create great things. They gathered and worked as a volunteer group, displaying kindness, and sacrificing their time to help society.
