On June 29th, 2018, Sarasas Ektra organized National Scout Day activities on the open area in front of Dominic 1 Building, Primary Department, to pledge allegiance and honour King Rama XI, the founder of the Thai Scout Movement. A representative of teachers read the biography of St. George who was a patron saint and a good role model for Scouts and Guides. Then there was a march past to express discipline, followed by the Scout Oath. In addition, there was a Maori “Haka” and cadence show. The results of the marching contest were as follows:

Speech of Director Pisut Yonkgamol
Today, my special thanks go to Year 9 Senior Scouts. I have seen lots of your growth. You grow stronger. Please keep on practicing. This is a strength of being scouts and girl guides. My admiration also goes to little girl guides who have so much patience to attend the ceremony and make it to the end.
For marching or when you walk in lines, you need to watch your feet and keep them straight. I would remind all scout masters that “the Scout subject is important for training our students to have discipline and patience”. In general, both scouts and girl guides do better at cornering. Nevertheless, we will not stop here. We want to be better and one day we will show this off to all the schools in the Sarasas Affiliation. We have to count on all PE and music teachers. My special thanks also go to Year 12 Reserve Officer Training Corps students. You impress me a lot because this is the first batch that has done the "Haka”. You have made a good start and done pretty well.
Thank you to all the ceremony organizers. We thank Mother Mary and St. George. In every ceremony, please make sure that we have both great spirituality and ceremony.
