On January 14th – 18th, 2019, Sarasas Ektra School conducted “Sports Carnival 2018”. The aim of the activity was to encourage students to join and compete in various types of sports, to teach students to have sportsmanship, and to build unity amongst students. The details of Sports Carnival are as follows.
- Primary – Secondary Department
Sport competitions were held during lunch breaks starting from December 2018. The different types of sport competition held are described below.

On January 14th, 2019, an event, the “EKTRATHON”, was conducted. EKTRATHON is an internal sports competition (running). All athletes ran through every floor of the school’s buildings – parking lot building (7-storey), Bosco Building, Baptist Building, and Dominic 1 Building. The finish line was at the Kindergarten-Primary campus (Sathupradit 20). Lots of students (both in primary and secondary) and Thai and foreign teachers took part. Named below are the athletes who won prizes in this event.

The Sports Carnival Opening Ceremony was held on January 15th, 2019. Four color teams ( Emerald, , Gold, Amethyst and Sapphire ) paraded, including parents. The opening ceremony and parades are followed by a Merengue / Salsa performance and the final round of the tug-of-war competition, cheering competition, and cheerleading contests. Each color team fully showed off their creativity in terms of gestures, outfits, and accessories used with the shows. The shows also include both Thai and foreign teachers. Finally, prize-giving was held at the end of the sports carnival. Lists of prizes received are listed below.

- Kindergarten Department
The Sports Carnival was conducted on January 17th for NC – KG.1 students, and on January 18th for KG.2 – KG.3 students. The event started with the parades of the four team colors – Emerald, Gold, Amethyst and Sapphire . After this, events such as zig-zag run, red beans game, etc. Took place. Student representatives and parents also joined the sport carnival which made the carnival even more fun.
