On Thursday 12th September 2019 Sarasas Ektra School was honored by the ‘Sing Out Asia Choir’ from Japan, the ‘Superstar Academy Band’ from Siam University, and the Musical Band from Burapha University, 29 persons who made presentations in the Workshop: Singing in the A Cappella style (music that uses vocals without musical instruments). Sixty-five students from Sarasas Ektra Primary and Secondary choirs, together with 35 students from Sarasas Witaed Saimai, Sarasas Witaed Romklao and Sarasas Witaed Ratchapreuk, participated in this activity in which students developed and improved their singing skills in the A Cappella style. They also practiced ‘Beatbox, which is the mimicking by mouth of various musical instruments. A Cappella singing focuses on the melody, while ‘Beatbox’ tends to focus on the beat.
School would like to thank the ‘Sing Out Asia Choir’ from Japan, the ‘Superstar Academy Band’ from Siam University and the Musical Band from Burapha University who devoted precious time to provide another style of singing knowledge to the musicians in four Sarasas Affiliated Schools.
