Ektra's Pride

Miss Chomsiri Amornjaraslap
Batch 4 (Studied from Year 3 to Year 11)

Education: Master of Commerce in Accounting – Macquarie University (Sydney, Australia)

Ektra’s Pride:
The teachers at Sarasas Ektra School went above and beyond to give me opportunities to truly showcase my skills, by letting me appear in various activities and competitions within the school and outside. I have won several awards and received many certificates. More importantly, I have gained an enormous amount of experience and learnt how to achieve my targets.
While I studied at university in Australia, I applied for Australian citizenship through the Australian government and the application was granted. For most applicants the hardest step through the overall process is the IELTS test. However, I only took the only test once and easily passed it. After graduation, I worked in an Australian company for a few years and I was proud to know that I was the only person who was using English as a second language. Professional teachers always taught the English classes at Sarasas Ektra School. The classes helped me develop an excellent understanding of the English language and increased my confidence in speaking.
Currently, I am working as a payroll and benefits coordinator for the New Zealand owned company -Healthcare Software Development. I also started my own business a few years ago at the Platinum Fashion Mall- a wholesale clothing store.

Impressions while studying in SES:
I would need a whole book to say “thank you so much for everything” at SES, but I will try to write this in few sentences. It was a great honour to study there. Sarasas Ektra School provided a warm, safe and caring classroom environment. With the small classroom structure, I had more chances to participate and engage in learning, so it resulted in a better education. Furthermore, having small classroom environment meant I felt warm and safe as the students are surrounded by caring teachers. Finally, the teachers put in extra effort to teach and support me in every academic activity I was interested in.

Message to SES junior:
The English language has become tremendously important in our daily lives, especially as we entered the Association of South East Asian Nations (AEC). Therefore, learning and being enriched within the English language at school does help you to achieve the future career goals you have and facilitate your communication channels in the world.
