Throughout the 2019 academic year, School maintained its emphasis on the fight against Bullying. Among other things we did so through Ethical training, vowing, a campaign parade in the Sport carnival 2019, and a 'Stop Bullying’ drama performance in front of the flagpole during the ‘Show and Share activity.

               Events and activities in our campaign against bullying included a motto and slogan contest on the topic of ‘To reduce, stop verbally abusing’ of the students in Y.4 - 12 and a speech competition on the topic of ‘No hate speech’ for the students in Y.4 - 6. Noteworthy among the various activities was the ‘Young Ambassadors activity’ in which students who registered as 'Young Ambassadors' had to promise, along with friends they had recruited, to join the Positive School project ‘Change your word, change your mind’ using respectful speech, and the ‘Our room is fresh and clean* without non- creative words’ activity. Students should not use words to bully others, and the annual AFR activity gives students the oppor- tunity to apologise, forgive, and reconcile with friends who used to be bullied both verbally and physically.
