How to Prevent Diseases During the Rainy Season

The Infant Department of Sarasas Ektra School has been monitoring students to see if they have contracted some diseases that can spread very quickly during the rainy season. So school would like to present some precautions to protect them from these diseases. The precautions are as follows. | |||
1) Washing hands regularly – This is a primary precaution. Since some diseases can easily be transmitted from person to person via mouth, hands and skin contact, it is required that students wash their hands before entering their classrooms and toilets and before eating. | |||
2) Using antiseptic hand gel before entering classrooms – Every time, before allowing students to enter their classrooms, teachers must have them apply hand gel to their hands to keep them clean and germ-free. | |||
3) Spraying disinfectants – School needs to spray disinfectants every other week on school campuses. | |||
4) Spraying mosquito repellent – School needs to spray mosquito repellent every other week in places where there may be plenty of mosquitos, such as drains and toilets. | |||
5) Easting freshly cooked food – School dietitians realize the importance of the food that students eat, so they make sure that students always eat foodthat is properly and freshly cooked. | |||
6) Cleaning air conditioners – School has its air conditioners cleaned annually and its air conditioner filters cleaned monthly so that the air in every classroom is sanitary and germ-free. | |||
7) Cleaning toys – On Fridays, teachers have to clean toys with Dettol and expose them to sunlight to get rid of germs. | |||
8) Cleaning classrooms every day – Teachers have to clean classrooms with Dettol to exterminate germs. | |||
9) Avoid using common rooms – Since diseases can easily spread among students during the rainy season, it is advised that common rooms such as the Yoga room and the Jungle Gym be avoided. During this period, specialist teachers will go to each classroom individually. | |||
Finally, it is important that students strictly follow the above-mentioned precautions. School would like to ask parents’ cooperation not to take students to crowded public places that are likely to abound in germs during this time. To protect other children from illnesses, if your child has an illness such as a headache , cold or a runny nose, please have them stay at home to recuperate until they are well enough to come to school. | |||
