Dr. Angel Lin and Dr. Valerie Yip held a Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL) workshop for Administration and teachers on Friday 22nd June in the Secondary Seminar Room, Baptist Building, 7th floor. This workshop aimed to give everyone at Ektra an insight into how CLIL can be used effectively in the classroom and highlighted how with effective language support, students will become more confident using English. Both Dr. Lin and Dr. Yip also gave some interesting ideas of how CLIL can be used in conjunction with more hands on activities, whilst still focusing on language support and development.
